Talsi city and region will host combined special stage
Today, in the Tower hall of the Talsi Folk House, the press conference of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) stage Tet Rally Latvia took place, attended by the Mayor of the Talsi region, Andis Āboliņš, and the director of Tet Rally Latvia, Raimonds Strokšs. The audience was presented with both the rally activities planned in the city and the Tet Rally Latvia stages scheduled in Talsi and the Talsi region, which will welcome spectators on July 19th of this year.
Liepāja will host a city stage, Tet Rally Latvia final stage planned in Vecpils auto track of Dienvidkurzeme region
Today, in the Concert Hall Great Amber, the press conference of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) round Tet Rally Latvia took place, attended by the Mayor of the Liepāja city, Gunārs Ansiņš, the executive director of the Dienvidkurzeme region, Uldis Vārna, and the director of Tet Rally Latvia, Raimonds Strokšs. The audience was presented with both the service park planned in Liepāja and the special city stage in Liepāja’s Seaside park, as well as activities in Vecpils autocross track and Dienvidkurzeme region, where Tet Rally Latvia special stages will welcome the spectators in almost each of the rally days.
Tukums region will host both the shortest and longest gravel stages of Tet Rally Latvia

The wider audience was presented with both the rally activities planned in the Tukums city and the Tet Rally Latvia stages scheduled in the Tukums region, which will welcome spectators on July 19th of this year.
WRC Tet Rally Latvia will visit Kuldīga region with drivers parade and special stages

The wider audience was presented with both the rally activities planned in the city and the Tet Rally Latvia stages scheduled in the Kuldīga region, which will welcome spectators on July 20th of this year.
Mārtiņš Sesks set for Rally1 step-up
Latvia’s Mārtiņš Sesks will benefit from the support of WRC Promoter and M-Sport Ford, earning a Rally1 drive behind the wheel of an M-Sport Ford Puma Rally1 for Orlen 80th Rally Poland and a full-spec Rally1 HYBRID on his home stages at Tet Rally Latvia.
Double start of WRC Tet Rally Latvia in Riga
Today, in the conference hall of the Riga Motor Museum, the press conference for the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) round Tet Rally Latvia took place. The event was attended by Riga Mayor Vilnis Ķirsis, chairman of the Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD) Aivars Aksenoks, and director of Tet Rally Latvia Raimonds Strokšs. The conference presented to the wider public both the rally activities planned in the capital and the first special stage of Tet Rally Latvia planned in Riga, with which the historic first WRC round in Latvia will start in the evening of July 18th at the Biķernieki Track.
Tet Rally Latvia inks a deal with Toyota Baltic
Tet Rally Latvia organiser RA EVENTS has inked a deal with the regional importer of Toyota cars in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia – Toyota Baltic, engaging into a partnership to further strenghten successful operations prior and during the Latvian debut on the world stage of rally. FIA World Rally Championship round in Latvia – Tet Rally Latvia – is scheduled to take a place on July 18-21. Now on, Toyota will be the Official car of the 2024 Tet Rally Latvia.

Ticket sales for Tet Rally Latvia start now
Ticket sales for the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) Latvian round, Tet Rally Latvia, has begun at Biļešu Paradīze ticket sales locations and on their website. The historically first WRC stage in Latvia will take place from July 18 to 21, 2024, with special stages planned in Rīga, Tukums region, Talsi, Talsi region, Kuldīga region, Dienvidkurzeme region, and the rally city of Liepāja. In 2024, Latvia will become the 37th country to host a WRC round.
Latvia officially inducted in the WRC calendar, Tet Rally Latvia set to happen on 18-21 July, 2024
A historic decision for Latvian motorsport was made today at the FIA World Motor Sport Council, approving the calendar for the 2024 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) season, which includes an event in Latvia for the first time. The official name of the rally will be Tet Rally Latvia, and in the summer of 2024, from July 18th to 21st, it will cover the territory from the rally city of Liepāja all the way to the capital city of Riga, with special stages also taking place in Tukums, Talsi, Kuldīga, and the Dienvidkurzeme region. Latvia will become the 37th host country for a WRC event.
Widest-staged Tet Rally Liepāja has concluded
Last weekend, across a geographically extensive territory, the Latvian round of the FIA European Rally Championship Tet Rally Liepāja was hosted. This event, which simultaneously featured two rounds of the Latvian Rally Championship, saw a total of 68 crews, with 136 drivers representing 26 different countries, including Japan, New Zealand, and Argentina from far beyond Europe. Over the course of ten special stages, a local crew from Liepāja, Mārtiņš Sesks and Renārs Francis, clinched their second victory of the 2023 European championship and the second in the history of Tet Rally Liepāja.
Mārtiņš Sesks delights Latvian spectators, secures back-to-back victory at Tet Rally liepāja
For the second year in a row, local favourites from Liepāja, Mārtiņš Sesks and Renārs Francis, took the victory in the FIA European Rally Championship's Latvian round, Tet Rally Liepāja. Sesks already showed strong pace on the Saturday, while on the second day of the rally, with four special stages taking place in the Dienvidkurzeme region, his lead over the second-place finisher, Hayden Paddon, was extended to 41.4 seconds.
Latvia joins calendar of the WRC championship
Today, in a special presentation event held at the newly renovated Riga Circus building, it was publicly confirmed that Latvia has met all the prerequisites set forth for the international motorsport event organizer in Latvia, RA Events, to expand its cooperation with the WRC Promoter, organizer of the FIA European Rally Championship and the FIA World Rally Championship. This allows Latvia to become the organizing country for the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) and continue its work towards the organization of the Tet Rally Latvia WRC round in 2024.
Latvia starts its way to join FIA World Rally Championship
On December 21, 2021, a decision was made during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to support the hosting of a FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) round in Latvia, marking a historic milestone for our country. This decision initiates a comprehensive preparation process to host a full-fledged WRC round in 2024. RA Events, the organizer of Rally Liepāja, in collaboration with WRC Promoter, plan to retain Rally Liepāja in 2022 and 2023 calendar of FIA European Rally Championship (FIA ERC).
